ART WITHOUT BORDERS FINAL PROJECTS 2023

You will demonstrate your understanding of how the digital revolution has facilitated a new era where artists can take advantage of a world "without borders" by selecting one artist (or several if appropriate) whose work inspires you. It may be someone who is interested in climate change, migration, war, women's rights, LGBTQ rights, human-made pollution, corrupt government, copyright, appropriation, freedom of speech, etc., and has created art work that either utilizes digital means in creating work, or uses the Internet to distribute evidence of their work.

You will write a brief paragraph about the artist and include links to a digital image or video that shows their work. You will create a piece of digital art inspired by this artist and their concern for one of the issues listed above. It can be a video, drawing, painting, collage, cartoon, a photograph or series of photographs, a piece of music, dance, staged reading or other performance that you can digitize and upload to your website or blog.
