Many Views of Mt. Fuji
Sorry for my late reply.
I have been looking for photos of Mt. Fuji.
Unfortunately, I do not have a picture with me and Mt. Fuji together as I was actually on Mt. Fuji at 5th station when I was there.
And it is actually very difficult to take a photo of Mt. Fuji with that perfect shape like you see in the post card or Hiroshige's art piece as cloud often appears and hides a part of Mt. Fuji.
Anyway, attached are some photos of Mt. Fuji taken by iphone.
(Sorry for the poor quality, I don't have a camera with high quality lens)
I was thinking of going to Mt. Fuji area to take photos if the weather is supportive, but the weather has been very bad this year. We have extended rainy season and all I see is cloudy/ rainy sky this whole month.

Mt Fuji in the CloudsThis Mt. Fuji photo was taken from the plane. It is hard to see but it is in the middle of photo (can you see?) I have seen beautiful Mt. Fuji from the plane when there was no cloud and I could actually see the whole shape, I was very lucky at that time. |
